The 'why do we need parkrun, just go for a run' comment breaks my heart 💔 For the vulnerable, the lonely, the isolated, the marginalised (ironically those hit hardest by the pandemic) IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE 5K RUN. People miss social connection, belonging, community 😪
