Worth a read over your Sunday morning coffee… The NHS needs properly funding (including paying its staff fairly and adequately). That can’t all be done with tax cuts or no tax rises…

We have a paradox where the UK clearly wants an NHS and access to high quality healthcare. But very few people are actually willing to pay substantially more tax to get that. Politicians therefore unable to discuss this candidly with voters so we try and do everything cheaply.
