Very impressed by Sally Rooney. She’s just 30 and had huge success already. She didn’t need to show solidarity with Palestinians. Doing so comes w serious potential costs, reputational + commercial. What she’s done takes real courage and integrity. She’s on right side of history.

💯% agree with you Jennifer. This country owes so much to those who have sought sanctuary, & made a home here over the centuries. It is a practice that has tended to make us stronger, richer, civilized, tolerant & humane. We should continue to aspire to such standards.
