This Gov/administration that claims to be tough on crime and support victims rights is proposing to slash $7.4M from agencies providing crisis services to sexual assault and domestic violence survivors and child trafficking victims. Make it make sense. 🤔

The governor’s vetoes of these three expungement bills are a total denunciation of the presumption of innocence and rehabilitation—the bedrock principles supporting the adult criminal and juvenile justice systems.

This governor believes in scarlet letters.

Mr 'Second Chances Proclamation' once again proves he doesn't actually believe anyone deserves them, by vetoing both Patrick Hope expungement for high charges that induce plea bargains and Sam Rasoul 🍉 expungement for juvenile records.
