A year has passed since I contacted the United Nations to tell them that we have photos and video of #Yazidi children who were kidnapped from #Sinjar and are now lost in the orphanages and IDP camps across Iraq. I asked them to initiate a search but they say they must have evidence #Apathy

Some of the youngest Yazidi children kidnapped by ISIS were found in Mosul last year but the major international agency that was caring for them refused to return them to their community without evidence of who they are. We now have evidence but where are the children? #Yazidis

8 people died during an attack at a Synagogue in #Pittsburgh today because they were #Jewish. And a mass grave was found in Tal Afar this morning where 15 boys were killed because they were #Yazidis. Today is International Freedom of Religion Day. What a complete and utter joke!

It’s four years since ISIS carried out these executions and three years since they left #Sinjar. How sad that the #Yazidi people have had to wait so long to find out if their loved ones were buried in these mass graves.

ISIS kill 7 and wound more than 15 people in an attack on Coptic Christian pilgrims in Egypt. My heartfelt condolences to their families and the people of Egypt. We must work together to end the targeting of ethnic and religious minorities across the Middle East and beyond.

While the world considers what to do about women like #ShamimaBegum, hundreds of #Yazidi families are desperately searching for their children. Some are hidden amongst the families who escaped but are any of the agencies actually looking for them? Probably not! #SearchingforSabr

#ShamimaBegum has been interviewed by many journalists but none have asked her what happened to the #Yazidis.

Another Wildfire today in Solag region in Sinjar where several mass graves are located. This fire could threaten remaining evidence if it reaches the vicinity of mass graves. ar.ezidi24.com/?p=19190

Sinjar’s fire yesterday took lives of two young Yazidi men who tried to fight it. One of victims was a Yazidi-Dutch citizen who returned from The Netherlands to rebuild his community & take care of his family’s farmland. There is currently no functional fire department in Sinjar.

I strongly condemn the #Turkish invasion of northeast #Syria and urge an end to all acts of aggression. The lives of the innocent civilians in the region are once again under threat and #ISIS fighters in custody are likely to escape and nerve face justice.

Tens of thousands of civilians are fleeing their towns along the border in Syria. Turkey is forcing native people to flee their homeland and planning to bring other fleeing Syrians from other parts of Syria to their homes: what do you call this except of ethnic cleansing?!

Per ground reports, Five ISIS prisoners have already escaped the prison and Al Hal camp is in total chaos. Can you even imagine what will happen if 20k ISIS fighters are released; they will group and form Caliphate 2.0 and pose direct threat to the region and the world.

8 Yazidi villages have been evacuated in NE Syria where several hundreds Yazidis live. ISIS first & Turkey and it’s radical allied groups now, are annihilating our people in Syria. From 80,000 Yazidis, there will be none if this invasion continues.
