Well done to all the #Blackburn @rovers players yesterday QPR FC. That’s what you get with a new Coach and you take on players, get it into the box instead of playing it sideways or back to the goalkeeper from the halfway line; two up front and no Captain whining at the Ref helped.

With the family of #Blackburn Blackburn Rovers legend Bob Crompton getting his honour cap this evening, back in December 1915 the local newspaper reported him being "Attested" into the Army aged 36; I cannot find any record and he continued to play football in #Lancashire during #WW1.

The #Blackburn Blackburn Rovers route to winning the 1890-91 #FACup for the fifth time since the competition started in the 1871; Rovers were formed in late 1875 and would win the Cup again in 1928. "A small-town Club with a BIG history". #Football
