A full-fledged westerly wind burst is coming in the next 1-2 weeks, with huge positive zonal wind anomalies (🔴) in the equatorial Pacific... This won't just be a reduction in the trade winds, but a full reversal to westerlies in the east. Could be an El Niño kick-starter...!
