There's a word for a govt who, when told what they're doing is against the law, seeks to change the law so they can do whatever they want. We're not witnessing the creep toward fascism, we're waist-deep in the middle of it & need not to react like a frog in slowly-boiling water.

This is, objectively, utterly horrific. Even if you think all this is necessary (it’s not) but even if you do (it’s not) you don’t arrange a photoshoot of you beaming like you’ve won the postcode lottery. The glee is just obscene. What happens to somebody to turn them into this?
