12 goals in two Leinster Championship games from Meath - savage stuff and it’s brilliant to see. If we put another 10 goals past Cluxton, it should be enough? 🙃 #GAA

I'm in a bad place due to horrendous, hurtful distortions of my past. I don't know what people hope to achieve with these total lies. This is as detailed as I can be on my life, I am laying it all bare as I've had enough. Now, kindly leave me alone. dannyboycorona.blogspot.com/2020/12/breaki…

To all inter county footballers & hurlers who’ve made sacrifices and dedicated their lives to entertaining us this past few months. Thanks a million. You’ve entertained, shortened our weeks and gave us plenty to discuss. Enjoy Christmas with your loved ones. 👏🏻

If you were exposed to #COVID19 on Christmas Day, you would be at your most infectious to people you encounter tomorrow on New Year’s Eve. This poses a serious risk of significant additional spread. #StayAtHome and stay safe.

It shouldn't matter where anyone is based, Gaeilge and Gaeltacht areas needs protection. Every time an estate pops up in a Gaeltacht, people without the language and with no intentions of ever learning the language move in. They often are priced out of reach of locals too.

So, what stands out in the Meath LEA elections? Aontu success, a static Sinn Fein showing, that the insatiable windbags of X/FB screaming for change doesn't translate to the doors, that the turnout (48% percent-ish) is really poor or that we're generally happy with our lot?...

In coming years all of us need to promote the Irish flag on as many occasions as possible in its proper context of unity in difference. Otherwise our national flag will end up becoming synonymous with an 'Ireland for the Irish' mentality that has suddenly gained traction. #LE24
