Recently rewatched two excellent Boston-set films based on novels by Dennis Lehane - Clint Eastwood's 'Mystic River' & Ben Affleck's 'Gone Baby Gone'. Authentic seeming settings & characters and some terrific performances.

Very sad news about CJ Sansom, who didn't just write some of the finest historical crime fiction ever, but some of the finest fiction.
