Carol is discussing a 2018 study that she did about the opinions of Gen Z & millennials and how the findings could be used to revamp the BET brand. It was able to help determine “what’s hot, what’s next and what matters.” #NewhouseSpeaks

Carol and her team's findings showed that it is important to consider how their content is being streamed. Due to the findings, creatives altered their content to fit more popular, and at times more mobile, platforms.

The study also showed that BET should create more "snackable content" for the 14-36 age range. These users were more interested in short but engaging content that they could view quickly.

Carol talks about the importance of finding a way to make each of BET's platforms unique - they shouldn't be carbon copies of each other, but should compliment one another! It is interesting to compare the similarities and differences between BET TV, streaming and digital!
