"We will reduce GST slabs to just one slab of 18%" ~Rahul Gandhi. He wants to tax essential items at 18% instead of the current 0%, 5%, and 12% rates. Mercedes, BMWs, and cigarettes will be taxed at the same rate as rice, wheat & essentials.
