We rarely get the whole SSS RISD team together in one place, so today was extra special! Loved seeing everyone in person to celebrate our successes in 22-23 and look ahead to the important work of 23-24. It’s going to be an EPIC year!

So thankful for this multidisciplinary evaluation leadership team! It was an amazing morning of connection & learning with all 190 SLPs, diagnosticians, school psychologists and related/itinerant staff members! My bucket is full! We are ready to #RISDBeTheOne!!

Enjoyed our play-based eval at Wallace! SLPs are part of MDETs that use child-directed play & examiner-directed activities to assess a student’s language skills. This helps ARD committees make decisions regarding PLAAFPs, IEP goals, and LRE. #BeTheOne RISDSLPs #SHINE SSS RISD
