I was laid off this week after 22+ years as a staff photographer at the Herald-Times in Bloomington, Ind. They announced Monday we were sold to GateHouse, and by Wednesday I no longer had a job. I'll be hitting the streets looking for freelance work. I do both video and photos.

The Miners defeated Mitchell BlueJackets 9-5. Luke McDonald got his first Varsity win on the mound. Gabe Eslinger hit his first Varsity home run. Japheth House went 4-5 with a triple and 2 RBI. The JV played well but lost 6-5 in 5 innings. IN Baseball Coaches

The Lady Wolverines fall to the Lady Golden Arrows tonight, 13-2.

Miners were defeated Tuesday by West Vigo 9-6 and tonight by Bloomington North 5-4. Tomorrow they will travel to Sullivan for a 5pm start.

The Miners came up just a bit short on Thursday to Sullivan 6-5, but bounced back defeating conference opponent Eastern on Saturday 14-0. Sophomore Luke McDonald pitched a no hitter.

Miners were defeated tonight by Owen Valley 14-11. Jamison Fields recorded his first varsity home run and a double to go along with it. Trey Goodman and Jaxon Walker also had multiple hits for the Miners.

Congratulation to Wade Hall on being the medalist with a 43 in last nights golf match. Dylan Moody and Michael Solliday also turned in solid rounds. The boys golf team will be back in action Friday.

Congrats to ‘20 grad Christiane Davis; her Harding University Women’s Track team won the conference today!! She PR’d in the 5K as well!! Awesome job!!
