Your words can wound to death or water to life. Choose wisely!

We who are teachers of the Word should be especially careful of our speech. We are held to a higher standard, and can easily and unnecessarily offend with our words. James 3:1-2

One of the things that set the teaching of Jesus apart from others is that He spoke with gracious words. I want the same to be said of me! Luke 4:22

It is amazing to see new believers expressing their struggles and their yearning to be like Christ, along with their simple delight in seeing the answers that God has in His Word!

“More about Jesus would I know, More of His grace to others show; More of His saving fullness see, More of His love who died for me.”

It is a great day to worship the Lord Jesus Christ!

Jesus doesn’t want to be added to your life. He wants you to abandon your life, complete with your dreams and plans, and follow Him without reservation. He doesn’t want a part of you - He wants ALL of you!

I love to tell the gospel – the story of Jesus! He died on the cross, was buried in the tomb, and rose again, so that you could be forgiven of your sins and have life with God for all of eternity!

Psalm 71:5 For thou art my hope, O Lord GOD: thou art my trust from my youth.

O the love that sought me! O the blood that bought me! O the grace that brought me to the fold, Wondrous grace that brought me to the fold! I have this chorus on repeat in my mind and heart this morning. I’m so thankful for Jesus!

It is always good to be patient and let God work. There is no need or benefit to trying to hurry Him along. He knows best.

As Christians, we make a grave error when we exalt our experience over God’s revelation, for then faith becomes the servant of our feelings.

Transparency and openness are prerequisites for trust.

In many cases, what you hope to learn by reading books or listening to podcasts can only be learned by attempting what you fear. Some knowledge is only revealed through action.
