Today 2 RGS teams competed in a regional round ICYD vs teams from Eton/Dulwich/SPG Katie Robinson and Isobel Goldberg (y9) broke to the final in 12th place and Isobel who has only just started debating finished as 10th best speaker (equal) overall. This is a great achievement!

Opening the case in favor of the motion "This House Would Move Beyond Organized Religion", Lucas Hooper, Christ Church, argues that "when compared to personal spirituality, organized religion is deadly."

Continuing the case for the opposition, Professor Sondra Hausner, St Peter's College, argues that "religion is the very definition of a moral community."
