Our beautiful, ancient church, All Saints, Batley Batley Parish Church, is open tomorrow, Sunday 19 September 12.30 to 4pm as part of Kirklees #HeritageOpenDays. Parts of the building date back to the 13th Century. Historic marriage, burial and baptism registers will be open to view.

In #BatleyBenefice churches, we held a minute silence and prayed for family and friends of David Amess, following his tragic murder on Friday. We gave thanks for a life dedicated to public service, for comfort and consolation in this time of shock and grief.

Our van loaded with donations of clothing for refugees settling in #Kirklees, and one of our car loads of donations of food for Batley Food Bank. These collections were made as part of our Harvest Festival appeal. Thanks to all who gave.
