Unsolicited📖recommendation! Stuart Ritchie’s book was in equal measures scary and motivating. “Let’s work to resist our focus on shiny research findings and learn to value results that are solid, even if they’re less immediately thrilling” #openscience Open Science The Norwegian Reproducibility Network (NORRN)

Excited to be hosting today’s ReproducibiliTea Bergen session on . ‘s slightly provocative (my personal opinion) and thought-provoking 2018 blogpost ‘No, it’s not the incentives- it’s you!’ Should make for an exciting discussion! The Norwegian Reproducibility Network (NORRN) Open Science OpenSci Talk
It seems almost impossible to imagine that some people out there have not yet heard of our lovely podcast Nullius In Verba - about science, what it is, and what it could be - with Smriti Mehta. But we can not ignore the data. So, loyal listeners, do spread the word!
New podcast episode! @sarah_sauve and Helena Gellersen are joined by notable guests Flavio Azevedo and Paul Whaley 👍 to discuss citational politics. Can we use our citation practices to shift existing imbalances in academic structures? Listen on Soundcloud here: on.soundcloud.com/n4yTE
We are very pleased to share that our speaker in May will be Dr Dr. Christina Bergmann - Skies are blue...! Christina will talk about the buffet approach to apply open science practices! Sign-up: eventbrite.com/e/the-open-sci…
Second annual The Norwegian Reproducibility Network (NORRN) 🇳🇴 event kicked off this morning with a fantastic keynote by Gilad Feldman and a panel discussion on incorporating #OpenScience in teaching now continues locally with afternoon workshops and ReproducibiliTea sessions Universitetet i Oslo, Universitetet i Bergen and Handelshøyskolen BI 🙌🏻
Part 2 of The Norwegian Reproducibility Network (NORRN) annual event: panel discussion with Nora Serres, Ulf Toelch + Erik Løhre. One of my fav take away messages: openness does not equal quality! This ties in nicely with our local Universitetet i Bergen node workshop with Vebjørn Ekroll on Bayesian alternatives to NHST!
