Just discovered Colaboratory, a free Jupyter notebook environment that requires no setup and gives you access to free cloud GPU and TPU acceleration. Super impressed so far and definitely recommend checking it out! ☁️💻 colab.research.google.com

My impression is that NNs work better with applications involving very complex non-linearities (such as text, image/video) requiring a huge amount of data to capture them On the other hand, random forest or gradient boosting have better performance on tabular or structured data

Introducing tech debt during software development is inevitable. Be principled about it - know what trade-off you're making, how much it will hurt you in future and make an actual plan for rectifying it. Otherwise, you might be going fast now but you'll be crawling later.

Investing has a hero-worship problem. If the $GME squeeze was done by a billionaire they'd be called a genius. Instead WSB was de-platformed and hung out to dry b/c "dumb money" isn't supposed to win. I explain the trade and give credit where it's due: nosible.com/credit-where-c…
