The last time I did parkrun UK I was (secretly) 10 weeks pregnant. Today I ran 10 weeks postpartum after my second baby in 2 years. It was great to be out with so many supportive, friendly people, not to race against but to run with. Thank you to all the volunteers Wollaton Hall

I don’t like it

My friend re-mortgaged today and her monthly payments will be going up by £349. A month. Same house, same place, nothing extra borrowed. Just an extra £4000+ a year in interest. A mortgage crisis of this government’s making and we all pay the price. 😡😢

This is no surprise to me. There were many occasions in the last year where I could have attended a meeting virtually, but due to work or caring commitments I couldn’t get there in person. Flexibility matters in making councillor’s roles accessible. bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politi…
