NYC parents and would-be parents want what they’ve been promised: free child care for all 3 and 4 year olds.

Additionally, the Mayor is not reinstating outreach teams —leaving families unaware of their child care options.

The Mayor's new schools funding is a testament to the influence of parents organizing & New York City Council advocacy.

While reversing some cuts is a step in the right direction, it falls far short of the investment & infrastructure needed to fund a truly universal 3-K and pre-K.

Adams has spent 2 years slashing pre-k and 3-k funding and outreach.

Now demand for 3-k exceeds supply in nearly half of NYC zip codes.

His cuts have already created unnecessary childcare costs & stress for NYC parents--
