#OnThisDay in 1885, women were admitted to RCSI for the first time 👩🏼‍⚕️ Agnes Shannon enrolled in RCSI in 1885, becoming the first woman to study at any medical school in Ireland or Britain. She paved the way for other students like these first years in 1948.
