Year 12 Biologists absolutely loved their dissection of a mackerel this morning! Mrs Sparks demonstrated on a trout, pointing out various organs before Year 12s got to work on theirs, specifically looking at the gill filaments.

Year 8 students enjoyed demonstrating the rock cycle using starburst sweets! Cutting them up to show weathering and erosion to form sediments, then compacting = sedimentary then heat and pressure = metamorphic before forming igneous rock.
