Vote for Chris Jones. He won’t ask Arkansas to secede from the union, won’t return federal money when we need it, and actually lives on our freakin state. He understands our lives not that of a political elite and isn’t afraid of a political debate.

Here is how today’s Supreme Court decision overturning Roe impacts Arkansans. Arkansas’s abortion ban (in effect today) allows no exception for rape. It allows no exception for incest. It allows no exception for a lethal fetal condition.

In other words, starting today, in Arkansas, a girl (no matter how young) who is raped/a victim of incest will be forced to carry her rapist’s baby to term in her tiny body.

I understand that the debate around abortion is complicated. I understand that determining the point at which a fetus becomes a “human being” is difficult. But I also understand this: Women are human beings, too.
