Raptor Computing Sys Raptor Engineering Phoronix Who said that you can't run Darktable 4 with OpenCL acceleration on a free-down-to-the-firmware ppc64 Talos 2 workstation? pastebin.com/qp3nngpA We couldn't even dream of it if it wasn't for @[email protected] rusticl

Well if you truly treasure freedom, you can run Mastodon on open and fully auditable hardware Raptor Computing Sys Blackbird or Talos II. I can confirm NodeJS, Ruby/RoR and PostgreSQL working perfectly on Linux ppc64le.

This took much longer than planned, but here's the finished custom mount I made to attach an #EKWB water block to a Talos II #POWER9. All of the original IBM cooler mount had to go, replaced with a custom aluminium bracket that can optionally take a Noctua cooler.

Raptor Computing Sys A few more pics! Here's a Noctua NH-U12A fitted directly onto the same #POWER9 bracket. Temps are 10-15 degrees lower than with the stock IBM 3U HSF, with extremely quiet running.
