The best part of my day was going to the dentist! My dentist is always cheery, and my teeth are in good nick so I usually leave relieved that I’m good for the next 6 months 😁

The best part of my day was grabbing a healthy lunch from the fridge that I had already prepped. I had a 15 mins lunch break 😤 so was so pleased with myself that I’d actually been organised this week!

The best part of my day was walking in the PISHING rain to collect my car, which I’d left last night so I could go to the pub. I was immersed in my own thoughts as I walked head down, hood up in the rain and the dark for 4 miles. Lots of ideas!

The best part of my day was a video call with a pal who’s moved away. It’s sad when friends and colleagues move on to a different path and you stay behind but it’s great to hear things are better for them.

The best part of my day yesterday was a call from the folk I visited on Saturday asking me to do an emergency housesit so it was a quick dash back down the road to Fife! The best part of today was cuddles with the dogs, especially the rescues who are letting me closer each day ❤️

The best part of my day was Dottie, a rescue dog, has started to let me pick her up without being scared of me.. even approaching me for cuddles! She makes my heart melt.

The best part of my day was accepting the time it’s going to take to get some things done by Christmas. I can’t keep focussing on the tasks I can finish within a day, some have been put off for months because they will take a week to accomplish. I needed to relax into that.

Heard the sad news today that Billy Duff has passed on. He’s my sister’s friend, someone who stood by her with kindness when she had tough times. Always a hearty laugh, lots of stories and wind-ups. He kept in touch with me on Twitter too. Our family will keep fond memories x
