📢Very happy to share the first publication of our lab at UNIGE UNIGE_en published in Nature nature. This has been a highly collaborative effort. rdcu.be/cpk5v We identified surprising, new aspects of the cell cycle regulator separase using cryoEM. A short thread🧵

A recent study (Locher lab in collaboration with the Stahlberg group, University of Basel) determined the turnover states structures of ABCG2 which reveal key conformational changes that are essential for substrate recognition and translocation. More: biol.ethz.ch/en/news-and-ev…

Happy to share our latest study of adenylyl cyclase 9. With collaboration with Plückthun lab, we developed a DARPin C4, which specifically activates AC9. We also captured the second MANT-GTP binding pose. Thanks Dessauer and Bondar lab and all authors. biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

I am happy to share our Connexin43 structure determined by #CryoEM at 2.26Å. The structure is captured in a "closed" state. The #MD simulation shows NTD could be open after applying trans-junctional voltage. A nice collaboration with Silvia Acosta-Gutierrez Gervasio's Research Group (Protein Dynamics)
