PSA members were suspended by Access Community Health after engaging in partial strike action. PSA sees this as bullying and intimidation by Access, who cited a lack of funding for not increasing wages. It is owned by Green Cross Ltd, who last reported a half-year profit of $8M

Access Healthcare has suspended workers without pay for a second time this week ahead of strike action on Friday. In a shameful move, Access has split its workforce, suspending half the coordinators at the Petone head office for 3 hours. PSA delegates were also suspended.

On Sunday a young girl was found submerged and unresponsive in Karori Pool. This is a parent’s worst nightmare, but due to our life guards’ quick response, her life was saved. To David, Juliano, Callum, Isaac, Sophia and Kohe, you are all heroes. Thank you and well done.

It's a bit amusing to see National concerned at the IRD staffing cuts, 3 years down the track. Don't recall them caring when PSA members were raising the alarm and warning this would happen

Some Labour-supporting folk are sharing this list in support of David Clark's reputation. Whatever you think of him personally, it does underline that the current government has done quite a lot in Health.

The news is good for now! Masks on public transport in Auckland will soon be mandatory, but you should start using them as soon as possible. If we continue to follow the rules, we can and will defeat the virus again.
