This is purely anecdotal…#Oakland 911 system and response times have crashed and burned AGAIN. Hold times for the #nonemergency number (still an emergency in most cities) exceeded 3+ hours. The State/Feds are about to takeover. #recallthemall

Oakland has a storied history of bold ideas, of being cutting edge in terms of empowering its populace. Never this. In their skewed, off-kilter world and in an effort to pander to lowest ideals and the least expectations. We are dying from all social ills imaginable.
