6th grade artists are bringing fruit bowls to life! 🍎🍌🍇 Learning shape, form, and value with colored pencils—turning simple sketches into realistic still lifes.

6th graders are serving up art on the menu! Using watercolor and value, they turned fast food into still life masterpieces while showing off their painting skills.

In Science, sixth grade students are learning about the micro-world using our microscopes!

Congratulations to Rubie for qualifying to compete at the CPS Cross Country City Championships and to Ethan for winning first place in the K-6 division of the CPS All-Stars Chess Tournament!

4th graders visited to the new ComEd Community Center where they learned about energy efficiency, energy usage and the Smart Grid.

8th graders took creativity to the next level! They painted in groups then ripped their own artwork to create bold, textured collages. On top of those layers, they painted animal pics. The results? Wildly creative masterpieces that celebrate teamwork, risk-taking, & imagination!
