Today, Mike Reed and the rest of life leadership are hosting a so-called “Town Hall.” Gannett unions will not be attending. We don’t need another dog-and-pony show. We weren't given a chance to even submit questions this time. And they normally disable chat. #AnswerUsMike

Didn't attend the life Town Hall but I would like to know: How can Gannett remain committed to the community if newsrooms are being whittled down to one or two reporters? #AnswerUsMike

We look forward to seeing this appreciation at the bargaining table instead of the union busting, stalling and outright insults thus far. A living wage, investment in newsrooms and stability benefit journalists and the communities they serve.
