The kerbstones laid so carefully on PHS’ ‘bootiful road’ are being regularly damaged by turning trucks and bin lorries. They’ll be gutted but isn’t it actually due to poor road design not leaving enough room for routine traffic? It’ll all need fixing before adoption me thinks.

The PHS statutory accounts to end May 24 have been published and it’ll be no surprise to anyone that company net worth has dropped another £155k to minus £431k. That’s almost half a million to find just to cover their liabilities! What might that amount be now, some 8 months on?

Looking at the latest PHS accounts, did you spot the nearly £1.4M of debt or that there’s only £2,500 left in the bank? Do you think they’re hoping there’s no big bills coming in and perhaps wondering how to pay for all the work needed before anyone can move in?

PHS accounts value their assets at £900k. That’ll mostly be made up of 2 McMansions but as it seems there’s no real interest in buying them, their true value could be a lot lower. What do you think that might do to the business’ net liabilities; could they be more than £431k now?

The latest CreditSafe report gives PHS a Risk score of 31 (just 2 points off ‘High Risk’) and a Financial Strength score of C2 (bordering on ‘Very Low’). There are few professional companies whose operating rules would allow them to do business with PHS. Would you want to?

Isn’t it amazing the amount of information you can find on line. Why only yesterday I was looking at the 2 charges that BoS hold over #PremierHomesScotland and wondering when they might be actioned. I looked too at their title for Pattiesmuir, but that story’s for another day.

An agent post sought to convince you that the signs are in response to Broomhall Estate trying to sell the project long before #PremierHomesScotland came along. Not so, they’re legitimate protest against the developer’s appalling antics. FifeCouncil Planning agrees the signs are legal.

CreditSafe recommends a credit limit of just £500 for PHS; down from £20k in 2 years. R U doing any business with PHS? Suggest you get ‘cash with order’ for any purchase over £500 and also seek security for any significant orders placed with them. Seems fair doesn’t it?

KW’s agent asks about feelings of safety. We used to feel very safe but since PHS came along we feel threatened, bullied & even a bit scared. Civil and criminal litigation once unheard of here has rocketed and now the Police drive by most weeks. Feeling unsafe? Without a doubt!

We certainly didn’t feel safe the morning of the “McMansion Open Weekend” in August 2023 waking to find we’d had a late night, knife-wielding prowler removing and defacing our signs. Police couldn’t confirm who’d done it. We just call her ‘Knifey Wifey’; it makes us feel safer.

PHS’ Agent asked how safe we all feel. We certainly feel safer with no more letters from Fife Council threatening legal action over our signs after a PHS complaint. A few replies sorted out the Council lawyers, threats were retracted, and the enforcement guy was never seen again.
