Off to a flying start with our Autumn courses at @hmpelmley and HMP Downview. #mindfulness

This week we start delivering our 8 week mindfulness course to 24 ladies HMP Downview good luck to all participants.

A practice we teach in prisons to help participants feel connected to loved ones.

Normalize: listening to people express how they feel without giving advice, trying to change it, or attempting to fix it.

Lots of our ladies don’t have family or friends who can send them clothes or money, and we are short of certain items, So anyone wishing to donate ladies clothes, SIZE 18 AND ABOVE, we would love to hear from you. Please DM us. And thank you 🙏

Very disappointed British Transport Police Metropolitan Police for handcuffing my 15yo pupil for having a broken Oyster card and then told she gave a false address which was later found to be correct. 3 hours in cuffs and sent to a police station. They believed she was an adult. Side note, she’s black.
