I had the absolute pleasure to welcome, Lt Gen Yajima Masahito, Commandant of the Japan Joint Staff College to the Joint HQ. The delegation gave an insightful presentation to the Strategic Command audience on Japan's security environment and associated Defence Policy. 🇬🇧🇯🇵

Never a dull moment in PJHQ! In my first weeks I've been meeting the exceptional people of the Joint HQ. It is both fascinating and humbling. Their knowledge and expertise are central to the delivery of Operations globally, and truly are the powerhouse of Defence Operations 🇬🇧.

Troops of the Queens Dragoon Guards, currently on Op CABRIT met Brig Jamie Murray Brig Giles Harris and HMA to Latvia, Paul Brummell during Ex RESOLUTE WARRIOR, which saw them transit the strategically important Suwalki gap, while showcasing capability and assets. 🇬🇧🇵🇱 🇱🇻

47 Commando on RFA LYME BAY recently conducted training with our West African partner nations 🇬🇭🇳🇬🇸🇳🇸🇱 47 Commando (Raiding Group) Royal Marines specialise in maritime assault, raiding and small boat operations and have put this to the test, working with partners to strengthen maritime security💪

Exercise REDFLAG is the worlds premier Air Exercise, working with U.S. Air Force and Royal Australian Air Force partners, we deliver a strategic challenge in the Indo-Pacific, demonstrating our ability to deliver agile Air operations globally.

This month, HMS Spey has been working with French Carrier Strike Group on Exercise #LAPEROUSE25 as part of our ongoing commitment to the Indo-Pacific. The Royal Navy Ship will exercise with partner nations, to improve our combined maritime ability - And strengthen our ways of working together.

Great to see UK Commando Force Operations have been put through their paces conducting ice-breaker drills in Norway. Working with Norwegian Armed Forces | Forsvaret and NATO partners they continue to hone our skills in cold-weather environments.

Exercise VIGILANT ISLES concludes, after another successful year of intense training in Japan. This exercise is crucial to building a deep and successful military relationship between the UK and Japan, showing our shared commitment to security in the Indo-Pacific.

Through Ministry of Defence 🇬🇧 training courses, we provide a wide range of training support to Defense of Ukraine 🇺🇦 recruits arriving in the UK 🇬🇧 From surgical training, infantry courses, pilot training, and mental health support; we are committed to helping how we can. #SlavaUkraïni
