15 of April marked a significant milestone for #AusAirForce and Royal Air Force as we came together to commemorate the reforming of not one, but two Number 80 Squadrons, at Eglin Air Base.

Both 80 Squadron teams will work alongside the USAF Reprogramming Lab (USRL), and the USAF’s 513th Electronic Warfare (EW) Squadron to optimise future F-35A Lightning II mission-systems.

It was an honour to commemorate Anzac Day in Papua New Guinea.
 
We met at Bomana War Cemetery, Port Moresby at dawn, the final resting place for so many service personnel from Australia and New Zealand who died fighting in PNG during the Second World War.

Watch 🎥 as our soaring E-7A Wedgetail aircraft on Operation Kudu supports the multinational effort to provide early warning for potential threats from Russia outside of Ukraine.

The E-7A Wedgetail contingent flew around 250 hours with missions averaging five hours in the air.
