As anticipated it was extremely trivial to get the fluid sim working with the new Unity HDRP VFX particles, since 3D texture parameters will accept a 3D RenderTexture without me needing to hack anything :) Might take another week for me to post a demo video though.

I'm glad of the #VisualEffectGraph name, since just calling it VFX was way too generic and hard to search for. Long live the #VisualEffectGraph, I have been playing with it for weeks and it is excellent.

Here’s my Mesh-to-Signed-Distance-Field generator. As a test, thought it would be fun to intersect it with procedural SDF and ray march till it bleeds. 😁 #VisualEffectGraph doesn’t spawn from meshes, needs an SDF. Let me know if you’d like it and I can put it up. #unity3d
