Thanks to Lev and London Phoenix Orchestra for a top evening. 90% of the music from Olivier's 1944 Shakespeare film, full orchestra, two choirs and one very lucky actor: Walton's HENRY V is a great piece. But as an antidote to toxic flagshagging it's also now an important one
I’m conducting a concert on Wednesday and think you should all come. It’s at Cadogan Hall and features: - Stuart Hancock’s superb violin concerto played by (also superb) Fenella Humphreys - film music (inc. E.T., Streetcar Named Desire) - @NeilKBrand presenting with his usual aplomb
We are looking forward to the London Phoenix Orchestra Centenary concert tomorrow at Cadogan Hall. Stephen Smithers, Solicitor in our Litigation team, is playing on the Viola! cadoganhall.com/whats-on/londo…
This is the look of a cat saying “why are you spending more time with Lev Parikian this week than with me?” 😅 First up TONIGHT Cadogan Hall it’s Stuart Hancock’s wonderful concerto with London Phoenix Orchestra - & @NeilKBrand introducing film music in the 2nd half! cadoganhall.com/whats-on/londo…
