the Brecht exhibition @ravenrow is a real treat. Collections of Brecht’s notebooks, handwritten plot outlines spliced with his poetry AND promenade performances of play fragments with a sparky young cast who hit the epic theatre notes gorgeously

Tomorrow we start daily performances of Homework. The actors are nailing it and the electronics, miraculously, work. I don't know if political art can have an impact on this horrific reality, but we're definitely going to try.

Come watch this great show I was lucky to compose music for. Phoebe von Held took fragments from 4 unfinished Brecht plays & created a truly unique performance across many spaces at @raven_row. Runs 3:30 & 7 pm till 28/7, mostly sold out shows so hurry. 📸: Anne Tetzlaff Info👇

To develop his ideas, Bertolt Brecht would cut out images to form into collages. The Stage visits the performance-based brecht: fragments experience in London to find out how the German dramatist’s visual art impacted his theatre work 👇 thestage.co.uk/features/brech…

I saw two incredible bits of theatre this past week. One is an interactive showing of Brecht’s various working fragments; you are lead from room to room and scene to scene in a large house and the costumes are amazing. ravenrow.org/exhibitions/br…

On Bertolt Brecht’s Collages: “Brecht’s anti-fascist photo-collages bring to mind Dada & surrealism. [...] The operation of cutting, rearranging, & gluing newspaper clippings retrieves truth by deforming reality.” e-flux.com/notes/618795/f…

Grateful for shane boyle’s brilliant review of 'brecht: fragments' Raven Row, pealing its different layers and showing the resonance of Brecht’s work with current political crises: ‘Images from Gaza flashed across my mind as I visited brecht: fragments' newleftreview.org/sidecar/posts/…

My book 'The Arts of Logistics' is out today. It tells the story of how the supply chain became the chief organizing form of capitalist production and the role art played in this history. It's also about blockades, the pitfalls of repurposing logistical infrastructure, & more.

Underfunding, invisibility and a lack of curiosity from the sector mean that migrant artists often end up on the fringes of the industry, says Maria Aberg. The UK must start doing more to celebrate international artists 👇 thestage.co.uk/opinion/uk-mus…
