Something PA Department of Transportation doesn't want people asking is if I-95 through Center City / South Philly mostly carries through traffic. Their own data indicates that all but one of the ramps in that stretch records well below 10k daily uses.

PennDOT needs a new culture that actually cares about and understands cities. It is incredible how little they're doing to address their deadliest roads that run through Philadelphia.

We have been trying to get line-striping & cross-walks painted for streets that were repaved over 1 year ago & commitment to install at least ONE of the 50+ outstanding 311 traffic calming requests in 19147. Good to know this is how things are done Philadelphia Department of Streets Mark Squilla

These alternatives are objectively terrible ideas & would not have saved Dr. Friedes' life. We wish Center City Residents Association (CCRA) devoted as much time/effort to making their neighborhood safer for pedestrians & cyclists as they do to ensuring car owners are not inconvenienced in the slightest bit.

Complete "nothing better is possible", loser energy. What a waste of time and resources. How about we work on saving people and not parking spots?
