brand & remarketing display campaigns arent sh*t - for the price of a $5 coffee they ensure that people re-purchase from you. name of the game is buy up ALL the search volume & real estate space on google for your brand. make it easy for the customer.

If businesses cant generate traffic organically, then theres no point in throwing money at it. figure out an offer, sell it 1000x then turn the ads on. high chance it wont convert if you cant do it organically.

one of the biggest issues I see when auditing PPC strategy is location targeting. Owners dont understand that buying up all the search volume in your market is crucial to whether or not you have something to show for money spent.

if your PPC guy/gal has over 3yrs + agency exp. dont push back on recommendations. unless youve managed $250k/mo. in spend the tactics you talk about are just ideas. not battle tested. there is no room for error & its your money spent. take the advice Lol.

if you know how to run ads on google then all the other platforms arent an issue. By far PPC is the most technical out of all of em. fb ig pint, X..the algos might be different but, concepts are the same.

STORYTIME… launched some pressure washing ads at 80/20 split daily allocation. I pitch them on management. they didnt say no but also left access on the account. checked in on their account a week after & they auto applied budget recs. $20/day to $250/day in spend.

pt2. didnt advise them to do that at all. this is how you blow your ppc budget. 3 things they could have done to get more leads w/o increasing spend. 1. switch to max conv. 2. comb search terms 3. increase daily SLOWLY by 10-20% google hiked their budget by 650%! 😂

hopped on a call with some kid selling AI/Automation. didnt wanna be mean so I didnt really say anything. said hes looking for all types home service businesses to “automate” using ghl. cooked and has no idea. AI is the new hook. Just like SMMA was 4yrs ago.

the amount of business owners thinking they can slap together n8n bots and sell automation is jarring. I talk to these guys all day and its always the same setup. an mvp landing page built on GHL. that doesnt work. you need a tricked out website and offer for paid search.
