Awful clip from Reeves. My theory is the Labour right are uniquely dislikable in British politics because their operating presumption is that they are both more virtuous, and more intelligent, than anyone to their left or right.

Sue Gray asked for a salary of £170,000 per year, that’s £3,000 more than the Prime Minister, and any cabinet minister, and she got it. NO civil servant should earn more than the Prime Minister. This government is handing out your taxpayer money like it’s toilet paper.

According to PQ answer I got just now, the Home Office won't work out how many people who claim asylum & then cease contact & disappear (logged as "Withdrawn applications") have actually left the country, because there'd be a "disproportionate cost" to work this out. Totally mad

The Dem administrative state is flying millions of future voters directly into swing states. They are being sent to cities and towns throughout Ohio, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Arizona. Given that this is a sure path to permanent one-party rule, it is a very smart strategy.
