Set off from groats yesterday. Did 116 miles in total.two punctures,one hissy fit due to hunger and arrived in at 10.30pm in alness.

Just climed a huge hill for 5 miles out of selkirk. Sat at the top eating jelly beans feeling like champions. Another 65 miles to go today.

14 miles from gloucester, cutting the miles up on flat, good quality roads. Great stay at parents, and feeling stronger. Go wills and kate!

Covered 80miles in 5 hours yesterday - lovely run from brum to bristol. Off to oakhampton today. Hoping to finish a day ahead of schedule.

Kane had the most spectacular low speed crash yesterday - bounced off a pedestrian, flew off bike then collided with bollard.feeling fine!!!

Final day hopefully. 89 miles to penzance then 9 more to lands end. We are on alert for the beast as we cycle through bodmin moor.

Much higher quality of roadkill down south. Scotland only had squirrels to offer, but in cornwall we are talking badgers and pheasants.urgh.

Incidentally, if anyone is planning to do this, lands end to john o groats is easier due to the prevailing winds being in your favour.
