Older adults in their late 60s who resistance train have similar lower-body strength (sit-to-stand), endurance, and stair-climbing ability as younger people aged in their 20s.

This systematic review and meta-analysis finds that engaging in more than 180 minutes of vigorous physical activity per week is concomitant with a reduction in risks of all-cause, cardiovascular disease, and cancer mortality, while maintaining vigorous physical activity at 30-60%

🚨 Study of 5,790 older men (~74 y) found that low protein intake—regardless of source—was linked to higher all-cause mortality. 📉 Each 2.9% drop in protein (% of energy) = 9% ↑ risk of death. ⚠️ Cancer mortality especially elevated. 📄 DOI: 10.1007/s12603-020-1422-4

Blood is a unique tissue. It's the only tissue that touches every other tissue. The only way to heal something is to get blood to it. Increase blood-> increase healthing / recovery.

Absolutely agree! There are 3 priorities in life: 1 - invest time in your family and the human relationships that are important to you. 2 - work to earn income 3 - exercise. Those are the three 'must do's' in life. Everything else is a bonus.
