Ney laughs. Guess her acting skills aren't getting rusty, after all. "Sorry. I overdid it, didn't I?"

"Are you all right? Do you want a glass of water or something?"

"All right. I'll be right back, just stay where you are." Allen would probably be too shaken to get up from the floor, though. Ney swiftly turns to leave to get him some water.

A tiny smile crosses her lips. "You think so...?"

"Ah... if you only knew."

He tilted his head. "Hmm? Knew what?"

"Oh, no. It's nothing important, Allen." She said, waving a hand in the air. "You should probably rest. I'll keep an eye out on the fire in your place."

Then THEY ARE thinking about the same thing. Ney would never tell Allen, or Riliane, about her being their elder half sister. She thinks that there is no need to.

However, if he ever wanted to talk about it, she is ready to admit to it. After all, the old Third Period is gone and this is a new, revived world. Hell, she isn't even supposed to be in Lucifenia right now.

It doesn't matter. At the very least, she is thankful to be given another chance to make up for her past mistakes. The urge to spill blood is still pestering her, tucked deep within the recesses of her mind, but she is determined not to let it get to her this time. Hopefully.

And he has full confidence that she will be able to do so. If she slips up, he'll be there for her, and he's pretty sure some of the other palace staff would be as well. He'd be there for his older half-sister, no matter what.

Ney is still at the same exact spot where Allen had left her, albeit now instead of standing, she's now seated on a wooden chair.

"The fire shrank a bit."

"We could've just asked the help of everyone in the kingdom to put it out faster." She muses loudly to herself. "Surely, everyone has their own water buckets, right?"
