Line Rochefort visit in Scotland: impressive restoration of afforested blanket bogs in The Flow Country led by Roxane Andersen and RSPB North Scotland. After cutting trees, incorporating them into the peat and doing a more thorough job of blocking the ditches, Sphagnum is growing well!


Great to host Rochefort Line in The Flow Country week and show her Sam Webber PhD research on peatland margins on the beautiful RSPB North Scotland Forsinard Knockfin Heights. She also managed to capture #bogdog Finn showing us how to do a veg survey! #peattwitter @UHI_Research
