Sorry we're late posting this! 17 of our members have been involved with this rescue over the weekend, including the Twitter elves. It was a privilege to work alongside everyone and we wish the casualty a speedy recovery. bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-…

The stores team have been making use of time between Xmas & New Year to replace some of our worn out rope bags. We're colour coding & introducing new markings to ensure easy ID, even when plastered in Derbyshire cave mud! We think the colour scheme is appropriately Christmassy🎅

Over 20 of our team members gave up half of their Saturday to help with our PPE inspections this weekend. We regularly check every bit of kit on our vehicles and at our base to make sure it is in tip-top condition whenever we have need to use it. #CaveRescue #Volunteers

A lovely evening for a race up a hill. Last night saw local runners attempt the DCRO Dash, a figure of eight route around some of the major caving features of the local area. derbyshirecro.org.uk/the-dcro-dash/ #caverescue

CALLOUT! - Wednesday 14th September, Oxlow. Wednesday night DCRO controllers & leaders met for a planned training session. Once completed we all headed home, to bed....... or so we thought! Just then the phones beeped, and it was a callout to Oxlow Mine.
