It’s been a busy week with 3 call outs & our Thursday evening training session
On Wednesday a call out to Shutlingsloe, Thursday a joint call out at Crowden on Kinder with Kinder MRT then just after midnight on Saturday morning a joint call out with Derbyshire Cave Rescue Organisation to Giants Hole

Tegg’s Nose near Macclesfield
The team was called at 09:51 to assist the North West Ambulance Service to a walker who had fractured their femur.
Due to the serious nature of the injury North West Air Ambulance Charity was requested.

Incident 137 -Sunday 19 Nov 2023. Derbyshire Police tasked us an Buxton Mountain Rescue Team to to a fallen walker with a lower leg injury in the upper Cavedale . A splinted ankle and then a wet and windy evacuation back towards Rowter Farm then driven to Castleton, then conveyed to hosp by friends
2 consecutive call outs on Saturday…
Firstly, Jacob’s Ladder to a fallen mountain biker. The casualty was treated by a team paramedic for multiple injuries & stretchered to Edale to the ambulance.
Then to Waterswallows Quarry to assist East Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Trust in stretchering a casualty.
A busy 24-hours for the team with 3 call-outs.

A group were out walking when one member slipped resulting in an awkward ankle injury
Pain relief was given & the leg splinted before a complex stretcher carry on the wet,muddy & slippy limestone path to the East Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Trust ambulance
