The right-to-buy scheme has cost UK taxpayers almost £200bn according to Common Wealth Margaret Thatcher's transfer of public wealth into private hands has fuelled the inequality and shortage of social housing we see today. The Green Party would scrap right-to-buy.
SAVE OUR ALLOTMENTS: a new Workers Party of Britain campaign led by Yvonne Ridley 4 Glasgow Following Angela Rayner's disgraceful decision to permit the sale of Britain's allotments we call on all to dig for victory over this toxic "Labour" government.
I keep hearing “we want our country back”. Yeah we all do. How’s about being able to buy a home on one wage? Or wages even being liveable? What about same day GP appointments? Or ambulances arriving within minutes? Clean rivers and beaches? I could go on and on. But I’ll tell one
I’ve just finished marching on the Palestine demonstration & have come to Parliament Square where people are being arrested for peacefully protesting against the proscription of Palestine Action. It’s a disgrace that people are being arrested for upholding our democratic rights.
This is such a disgrace, it’s almost beyond belief. The Met & other police forces are willing accomplices, sure, but the blame lies principally with Keir Starmer, Yvette Cooper & this utterly shameful Labour government. They are digging their own grave.
