Now that we’ve settled into our new space, we’re learning how Library books are organized. I love starting our conversation with this book, Crabtree, in which a man decides to sort all his belongings into hilarious categories. We especially loved the “broken things” page.

Here students are learning that every Library book has an “address” or call number. They’re figuring out which books belong together, and in which order. This increases their autonomy when browsing and searching for that ✨just right✨ book.

The author of "Good Night Stories for #RebelGirls" Francesca Cavallo released a free picture book for kids about #coronavirus. It's my favorite one so far! Download it here: bit.ly/undercats
