I love sharing my work live, maybe because I've written for theatre. I'm really shy though, and have to imagine the audience is just my mum with her shining eyes and encouraging smile and then I'm up and running. Here's some top tips from Paul McVeigh Writer...

I saw 2 plays Lyric Theatre Belfast this week. 'The Importance of Being Ernest' directed by @JimmyFay was hilarious. I haven't laughed so much in the theatre in years. Then saw 'Good with Faces' written and directed by Oisín Kearney. I loved it. Full of twists and turns and tension.

Thanks to Belfast BookFestival for a great time. I loved my panel event on writing for radio, the class yesterday on Reading You Work Aloud and most of all the night talking about my writing with Cathy Galvin. Crescent Arts Centre never looked so good.

Can't believe I'm saying this, but it's Publication Day! #wildmoonrising is officially out in in the wild... I'm a writer a little lost for words, to be honest - I'm stunned, proud, slightly terrified and a lot happy. This took A LOT of years, so I hope it inspires you, too 🌕 x
